My name is Kris Johnson and I offer freelance photography services in Louisville, KY and surrounding areas.  I specialize in dog photography, in particular AKC dog shows, where I capture their beauty both inside the ring and outside. Majority of my work is seen on magazines and showcased in homes across the world. For all photography sessions, I aspire to create unique works of art, focusing on creative compositions and natural moments.

I’m a husband and father of 2 young boys and I have been doing photography for over 20 years. My personality is infectious (so I’m told) and I love interacting with people and I love what I do! It’s truly fueled by 100% passion!

My goal as a photographer is to capture raw, natural moments and to create the event in an artistic perspective. I am very patient and have great anticipation to get the shots desired. This is one of my many qualities I bring to the table when I’m hired.

I am fun, easy to work with and I have a passion for my God-given talent. No matter the size of the project I always bring the same passion and dedication to each individual job and it’s my priority to make sure I provide a fun, memorable experience.

It’s very important to me to get to know my clients and to understand their mission and to relate to their photographic goals. I always ask questions and I learn as much as I can which gives me as much information as possible to enhance the project at hand.
